I take a culturally mindful approach which means that I am mindful that people of different cultures view the world differently and acknowledge, appreciate and welcome the diversity of people from all cultural backgrounds. My therapeutic approach is culturally responsive and affirming, strength-based and compassion focused. I feel honored to be able to provide hope, compassion, and positive change to my client’s lives.
The relationship between you and your therapist is very important. A good relationship allows you to feel comfortable, safe and understood. This makes it much easier to express your thoughts and feelings. As a therapist, my role is to listen, support, and guide you with encouragement so that you may heal with the inner strength and compassion that is within.
